The only problem would be closing the top as its a fence and my dad said that we wont close off the top.
The only way to escape is to jump the fence which is 6 tall or to dig out...

Potbelly pig, Mini Horse, Mini Donkey, Pheasants (PRETTY!) Doves, Pigeons. You could also make a large habitat thingy and have a bunch of turtles , lizards, and snakes. Ducks. Guinea Hens.

No to the pigs horses and donkeys
or cows or sheep either.
Is there any type of bird that wont fly and wont need the top covered?
I can make coops and what not, but the top of the "Run" cant be covered.

is it expensive to have them dewormed and their hooves trimmed so frequently?

It probably is.
Only because the other animals seem like to much work or destruction. Or noise...
