My 2 year old Muscovy drake Bob is really sick today he isn't eating and has diarrhea which is clear and green and sometimes a light yellowish green color his vent was covered in poop when i found him so i washed it off. He hasn't moved much all day and he is standing in my hallway looking really uncomfortable. My poor boy couldn't even come out of his coop to see me he usually runs out as soon as i walk outside. He is the first duck i raised from a duckling he is my baby and i love him. Does anyone know what this could be and how i can treat it?

His crop also looks full even though he hasn't eaten much at all today and he feels like he has a fever.

Are his wings drooping? Sounds like lead poisoning. Treatment would be injections of a curliating agent to remove the lead, otherwise wait and hope.

Happens to me a bit, too. For a moment I thought, wow, is this a new thing Clint's found?

. I have him on feed store antibiotics at the moment and im definitely taking him to the vet today. I will buy some activated charcoal afterwards. I have epsom salts would that work for now? His crop feels soft.

He has he symptoms of lead poisoning. .lead causes paralysis of the smooth muscle.. .which causes the birds to die with a full esophagus. Ask the vet to x-ray the gizzard or do an ALAD test.
