this came from one of my bantam Cochins...it has a darker ring around it and speckles. I do have two young hens that should start laying anytime now and my others have been laying since march.

Uneven application of pigment and bloom, nothing to be concerned about

I've had some other ones every now and then looking like picture below and I can't figure out if these odd eggs are coming from the same hen or what. I did just find a tiny egg today so I'm guess my two other younger girls are just starting to lay too. I'm just worried something's wrong but none of them are showing any other signs of anything wrong but I'm also still new to having chickens so maybe I don't know what to look for. As soon as I started getting the odd eggs I cut out all treats and they are on an all flock feed (used to have a rooster months ago but he got rehomed) and I give them oyster shell all the time. Do I need to switch them to layer feed? Could that be the cause?

Nah, I'm guessing that you are just not used to having home grown eggs, there are many oddities that never make it to the grocery store, they can be alarming until you are used to it.

What is the protein percentage of your all flock?
Are they consuming the oyster shells?
How old are your birds?

Totally agree with the above. If you're used to buying perfect white eggs from the grocery store then home grown eggs might seem really irregular. As long as the chickens are healthy then there's not much to worry about. Even eggs with funny coloring or shapes will still be fresher and yummier than the standard grocery store egg.
