Another ticks Question

I have three dogs and I found fleas and ticks on my babies. I got that taken care off but I'm worried my chicken might have them too. I have seen them scratching but don't see nothing.

I read chicken eat ticks

so should I just let it be? Or should I buy some type of preventives and if so what type? I would hate for them to be uncomfortable in any way.

I will buy on of those tick scoopers just in case too.
