Another TSC Bantam Thread

If you can find out for sure which hatchery supplies to your TSC, it might help narrow things down. I found out that ours definitely came from Hoover, and they don't really have that many bantam possibilities. I picked one up that looks just like your Tidbit. Since Hoover doesn't have EE bantams, mine has to be an OEGB, silver duckwing. If you call your TSC, they will tell you where they get them.

Before, I was told that they got them from Hoover’s and one other one - Farmline I think? I called earlier and the manager - who, upon every occasion I’ve spoken with him, has been a *peach* - was very certain about not knowing where any of the chicks come from. If I go there again - probably in the next few days for feed and possibly chicks - I’ll be asking somebody else. My apologies for that!

If I remember right you have one or two silver duckwing and one questionable one where we weren’t sure if it was OEGB or EE, that one should be black breasted red if it is OEGB, based on brown chick down :).

I looked up Farmline and there’s only a hatchery that I could find in Bangladesh. He may have meant Townline, they have a few bantam breeds but none of the ones you have.

Also the only d’Uccles Hoover has are Mille Fleur (although they don’t call them d’Uccles or booted bantams...Mille fleur is a colour)
Weird. Also, when I called them, they made a point of telling me they dont sell any "game" birds. They call them "Old English," without the game bantam part. Indeed, on their site, it is plain old "old english."

In their pictures on the site, their mille fleurs dont have muffs or beards. Did you notice that? My two mille babies definitely look like they have muffs, not sure if I can tell about the beards.
