Finally caved to my deepest desires this year and got a few chickens. Got seven, hoping at least 3-4 end up being pullets - though I know it's still too early to tell. We got them on 3/22, so they're approx 3 weeks old now (jeez, I thought it had been longer!).

I think I've identified most of their breeds through lots of googling, but would love someone with more experienced eyes to check my work! I tried my best to get pictures of them, but they weren't super cooperating today.

Mille fleur d'uccle? To the right side of image 3 is one of our (I think) gold sebrights? And in the back of image 3, I'm assuming is an OEGB.

The two in front I think are both OEGB, but I'm not sure what color(? morph? variety?) the one on the right is.
They are smaller than the other chicks by a decent amount, but are definitely the same age since we got them at the same time. The white one is also very rude, and likes to grab the other chicks by the beak... Are they known for being a bit flightier and having bad attitudes, or is that just ours?

Pretty sure Hecuba is a silver sebright.

And a few group photos because they really like to clump together. :')

I think you are spot on with your guesses. I see two mille fleur D'Uccles, 1 silver Sebright, and one gold Sebright.

The white one looks more like a white Japanese bantam because it looks to have the short legs, but it could be a white OEGB, too. Time will tell.

The chipmunk pattern chick is probably an OEGB as well. I'm guessing it is silver or gold duckwing, but it could be black breasted red or spangled. Time will tell with that, too.

I appreciate the help!!

Looks like we got some wattles coming in... I'm not sure at what point you can be like 'yep that's a boy' but I'm so anxious about this one turning out to be a roo. :'( He's the friendliest and always asks to come out and chill.

Couple of follow up questions:
- what color OEGB is this? I've been assuming BB red, but only because her chest is red and I want her to be a pullet haha
- my 3 sebrights' comb areas all look like the one pictured below. They're nearly 5 weeks old. Is this indicative of them being female, or is it still too early to tell? (It's so hard without an obvious male to compare it to, haha)

Hopefully my comment will bump your thread up & you’ll get more knowledgeable replies!

I’ve not had any of those breeds, but the youngest I’ve had a pullet get red wattles was 5 weeks (a bantam Cochin)… thought for sure she was a he, but nope! I’ve have cockerels with red wattles at 3 weeks (seramas) (& a crow at just before 6 weeks-different bird though-Ayam Cemani). Your chicks in post #4 don’t look male, but it’s probably too early to say female 100%. With my silkies I’ve had to wait 6-8 months for a few to know for sure! Hopefully your wait is closer to 8-10 weeks or even 12 weeks & you’ll know for sure. 🤞

Yes your OEGB should be a Black Breasted Red Pullet (that color has an easy sex distinction). Sebrights who get any comb growth/red before 6 weeks are usually males. If ttheir combs stay looking like this, they should be ladies! Some Sebrights will have huge red combs at two weeks, but definitely show their sex early. 🙂
