I will say this though, I have noticed that the roosters only hop on the girls who are or are about to lay. Now that I am not getting eggs for this lovely short daylight season, the roos are only on the two or three that are laying, like my little black Silkie named Flapper who just started after the first snowfall. Silly girl.

There is a difference between a non-standard AM and a EE.

A non-standard Ameraucana is when you cross two different Am colors, or it at least has the characteristics of an AM more than other breeds.... Her bird is a mutt.
