It has to be a she. Out of the 6 chicks (3 reds, 2 BR's and this one) I have from TSC "she" has the lightest and shortest comb. I am pretty sure 2- possibly 3 of the other ones are "he's".
And besides. Maybelline is not a very gender neutral name.

EE's are very slow growers on the combs. I could be wrong, but boy jumps out at me. BR's are usually very easy to sex if you post pics.

On the link you posted, the ones at the bottom are splash, which is completely different. Pictures #2 and #9 come close, but the bird in this thread has more dramatic color, which suggests rooster.
