Three days ago this lil duck & another lil guy piped a pretty big holes in their eggs. I didn't help them at all because most peeps say to wait 48 hours. Well yesterday the one died in his shell so I decided to help this guy out, there was green slime all over him and a big yolk sac. I washed him off as good as I could but him in a cool whip container in the incubator. We have been keeping the yolk sac wet and keeping the baby on a wet paper towel. It looks like it is starting to dry out. Do I let it dry up will it fall off? I had a chick two nights ago with a lil bit of the sac sticking out and by morning he good all healed up. What should I do with this lil guy? I tried to give him sugar water but he didn't want any. When I take him out to change the towels he is very active and FAST! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my rambling. He seems to be a fighter. But am I making him suffer? He doesnt seem to be in pain or anything so???
