I want to grow things for my turkeys. I know that they love watermelon, cucumber, corn, and squash. Is there anything else they enjoy?

Also s there any tips on starting a garden?

use good soil if the plant is full sun put in a place where the sun will shine on it
water them and keep weeds away

have fun with your garden

Plant what YOU like to eat, and give the left overs to the turkeys. IMO, it's important to take care of your own diet as well, and no better way to do so than to grow your own food!
