Pretty nice for imature birds, just curious ,, what is the red coloring on his feet? when you choose your rooster, choose hens that will work where he needs improvment.. If you try to do it the other way around its harder doesnt work as well..best possible rooster with a few flaws can be corrected by hens that are strong in that area... There was a breeder in australia that was a master breeder, he said give me your third worst and I will come back and beat you in three years...the genes are in there..he did just what he said too, came back and own BOS...some people just have an eye for whats going to work, his best advise was base things around the very best roosters and correct the flaws with the hens.. There are a few master breeders there is one here in Pa...hes tough to get ahold of cause hes out on the road all of the time he not only never gets tireed of winning big with chickens he also shows cattle, goats rabbits, was BOS couple years in a row at different big shows..he has delawares and has won with them , I tried several times to get ahold of him . but still havnt heard anything..
