Answer to the Delaware Dilemma

I looking for purebred Delawares hens. If anybody have chick or eggs that I have for a $.

Have been just reading this thread since the beginning. Just trying to learn more. When I seen the Delawares at the fair, I knew I had to take the photos and post them.

Any pictures of any Delawares anywhere are helpful, as far as I am concerned. It is so hard to find anyone who has them-

I like that hen at the fair a lot, from what I can see. My favorite thing about the roo is his nice short back, all of mine are lacking that compact frame and are rather long in the body. I can't tell for sure, but there's something about his body and wing carriage that doesn't mesh well, it seems, but it might just been the way he was standing. He APPEARS to be very upright, and have low wing carriage.

I have some Delaware eggs in the incubator. It will be my first time with this breed and I am looking to learn.

It looks like I have some reading to catch up on - - -

I just wanted to let you know that I am in the neighborhood !

Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY. I am taking the kids to the county fair today and am hoping to see some chickens there.

BOB it is in Callahan, FL. Perhaps, I will see your friend with the RIR there or at least some of his stock - - That would be a hoot !
