Antibiotic for coughing congestion

I don't have any new bird my birds are pet chickens we live in home and completely clean environment they eat all clean stuff good Organic feed I make sure they have plenty of good stuff :)
I was asking about the concept in general, sorry for the confusion

I love GA Poultry Lab. That's where I send my birds for necropsy.

So question - if you dont mind - say you get a new bird that has previously had MG/MS but you dont know it... you quarentine them for 30 days but they're asymptomatic and you bring them into your flock... then your whole flock could get it, yeah? So youd technically never know if your birds were positive unless you had a test done?
Besides any symptoms showing- no you wouldn’t know. Unless there is some sort of stressful event for the bird. They remain asymptomatic, shedding the disease in their feces.

Could you have poop from your flock tested to see if your flock has it?

Not sure, but I don’t think so. Some of these diseases require a necropsy and some may require a tracheal swab, I’m not exactly sure about the poop.

just doing research into it, it seems like it's in a high percentage of backyard flocks & people are understandably against the spread of it but theres no good way to know if you have it or not
