Anxious, help!

Yes, they had an automatic egg Turner that I took out on day 18.
I can definitely hear the cheers getting stronger. They were weak last night when I first heard them, but now it's like they have woken up.
Progress: still going slow, but I can see the white chick pushing on the little bit of shell where it pipped. Also, another egg started to wobble! No pip yet on that one.
Also, a confession: I bumped into the incubator my mistake and one of the eggs rolled a little. I know that once a chick hatches, it will probably bump into the other eggs. So this wouldn't have hurt the chick, right??? The pip is NOT face down, by the way.

They are probably resting and gaining strength. I had one that looked like it was trying to get out for hours (just pushing a bit of the shell where it pipped), but when it was ready, it zipped really quick!

A little bump shouldn't do anything and rolling around a bit is fine for them. Don't worry. It's only a concern if the pip is on the bottom and they can't get air (most that pip on the bottom still make it).

Thank you! Now I can see the chick's beak pushing through the membrane on the brown egg. Also, the white chick is starting to push off pieces of shelm where it pipped. I can't wait for the to HATCH!!!! :clap

Okay . . . is this normal??? After my last post I've been waiting for the next phase (zip), but it's been 3 and 1/2 hours and there hasn't been much progress. A few pieces of shell fell off where white chick pipped, but nothing else. The chicks are still cheeping and poking their beaks at their pips, but I'm really anxious. When should they start making a zip?

Sorry, I'm probably being paranoid again. This is my first hatch and I already LOVE my chicks. I dont want anything to go wrong. :(

It will take up to 24hrs to zip. I wouldn't worry about the chicks at all until you are at that point - they often take their time coming out unfortunately. When 24hrs has come and gone since initial external pip, then it would be time to start to think about them a little more :) There will be little to no progress and then all of a sudden they will zip.

So just like you said . . . the white egg started to zip! But I am a little concerned because it looks like there's some blood. Is this normal? The chick is still cheeping and pecking away.

First hatcher!!! I can't believe it!!!!!!!! :love Her name is Zipper (very creative, I know) and I love her. She is climbing all over the other eggs.

Awesome! Sorry, I was out for a walk. Congrats on your new little fluffy :) It's always so hard to watch, but they normally don't need help out if you've been doing things right and they're healthy!
