Anxious to begin

We've raised a duck in a utility sink during a Montana winter, pythons as pets, doves, iguanas,and rabbits to name a few, this will be our first chickens. Now retired from the military and teaching in San Antonio, we look forward to a new adventure. Will have lots of questions to ask later, so thanks in advance.
