Anxiously awaiting ducklings

MY DUCKLINGS ARE IN!! Just got the call and am running over to get them now...will keep you all posted! Post office says they ARE all ok, we shall see! So happy!!!

They are all safe and healthy! 12 ducklings and an extra Khaki Campbell!!
So relieved that they are all ok. I have them in a temporary tub beside the has stove until I move them to the brooder that is warming up a bit more. I dipped each of their little beaks in. A bit of sugar water and they are now going to town on food and having fun making a mess. They are adorable!!!

I noticed that Some of the ducklings have little green leg bands. Does anyone know if they fall off or should I remove them when they are older? I don't want them to cut into their little legs as they grow...my previous order of ducklings didn't have leg bands so I have no clue

They are all safe and snug in their brooder now. Thank you for thinking of me! I am so happy that they are here now

You might call the hatchery and ask what the bands mean. You're right, it wouldn't be good for them to cut into the duck legs as they grow.
