Incubator.
Yes, that incubator has hay in the bottom. I was trying to help with insulation, and had been told one way was to use hay. It has a layer of paper towel over the hay as well, however, I had to wrap him/his egg in damp paper towel and in that pic I had just removed the damp so I could replace it with the dry.
Sorry about the confusion. The brooder box is set up the same way. Is that wrong to do??? Like I said, I am a total newbie at this and learning as I go. Like all learning processes some things work, some don't, and some advice is good, some isn't. Lol. But I am hoping all you can help guide me along so I can have successful hatches.
The little guy seems to be doing good. He's starting to move a lot more, still breathing, some peeps. Still seems super weak and tired, but we will see.
