I had a chick do that literally like 4 hours ago and now he's happily under a heat lamp with his buddies. I'm sure your little guy will be fine

The little guy is not looking wonderful He was well and truly stuck and has needed a lot of help. Currently resting and should be able to get out if going to... Have had two Araucanas and two Pekins hatch so far which look good. One Araucana pipped below the air cell and started bleeding saw it straight away pulled it out and made a small hole for it to breathe and put wet paper towel around it. A bunch more pips too.

Do you have some sav a chick (electrolyte) on hand. He would probably benefit from having some in the water once you get him to the brooder. I use it on all my hatchlings for the first couple of days after they hatch.

Not sure we can get that is Oz. Will check out the fodder store tomorrow, otherwise will either put a bit of sugar in or can you use human electrolytes? Thanks
