Any artists out there?

I saw this at 4 o’clock in the morning.

In case you are skeptical, it can happen here, it’s just rare and the circumstances have to be right.

It gave me some inspiration for a painting.

I called this “Sagebrush and Auroras“ in the style of Bob Ross.

I feel like there’s some work I need to do on it, though. I feel like something‘s missing, I’m trying to figure out what that is.

Hey guys, this is art related, but it may sound off-topic.

One of my antidepressants is no longer working for me, and I’m being put on a new one. While I’m waiting and battling depression, I decided to paint to help myself distract.

I noticed something happened during my painting session, and this just shows how depressed and mentally out of it I am.

As you can see on the bottom, I was trying to paint grass in front of a giant tree, but I grabbed permanent red instead of sap green.

How I made that mistake, I don’t know, but that just shows how out of it I am right now.

Everything else looks good, though.

To me it looks like a knoll. Maybe add some small bushes or a few blades of grass there to make it look more like it was planned? I must say, depressed or not, you did an amazing job on this! It's absolutely gorgeous!! 😍 😍😍

Well, to me, this painting was great up until this part. To me, I completely failed. It doesn’t matter if everything else looks good, it’s not exactly the way I want it. That is a big eyesore right there in the corner.

In a nutshell, I completely failed.

Tell your inside voice to stop beings such a jerk.

If someone else painted that, would you say it was a complete failure? If not then you dont deserve that criticism and it's untrue.
