What is the white ball/sphere?

Just that. It's actually a metallic turquoise and the wavy lines in it are from a really cool grooved paint spatula I have that gives some awesome texture. They continue up and right toward the corner and fade out. I wanted something there to break up the overall angularity of the piece. If you look close you can also see the circuit pattern is circular as well.
