I hope this helps! My character creation instructor while I was in college for animation told us that it takes approximately 400+ drawings average to start doing well. So for those who are discouraged, fear not! Practise makes progress! Not everything is going to turn out well and that’s okay! Move on and start again. You can do it!!

I love what you’re saying! I totally agree.
IMO my drawing abilities are really good because I practice so much, drawing one to two drawings a day. My digital art, on the other hand... really sucks.
But I don’t post my pencil drawings because they don’t show up (and are mostly hobbits.)

I’m glad to hear the implied movement was well received. The curve of Thunder’s wing also really implied movement.
