I'm not even reading the whole Walden, we're just reading passages from the book. I don't think any of our class could make it through the whole book and the teachers know it, lol! But we literally live In That Town so in my experiential learning curriculum, we get to explore the historical places around town and read famous local literature too.Ughhh I did not like Walden whatsover but that os a great quote, and art!
It’s kinda funny though because in that depth I would just surface dive to the bottom with no problem. I love the irony!
That's crazy!!! We only read passages too. I definitely couldn't dive much more than 12 feet lol. Lake Winnebego (a large lake in WI but not a Great Lake) is only 21 feet deep at its deepest, pretty shallow in a lot of it, at an average of 15.5 feet, so you can dive to the bottom for much of it. Meanwhile the little lake by my grandma's is like 40 feet deep. ETA: max depth is 38' Funny how that works.I'm not even reading the whole Walden, we're just reading passages from the book. BTW, Walden Pond is a kettle pond, formed by a glacier; and it's actually around 100 feet deep! That's why no one knew how deep it went!
