AHHHHHHHH! I could barely contain my excitement long enough to look at the drawings! I never realized how funny a realistic style looks in DST proportions.
I was wondering if there were any fellow DST players on here. I’m glad to see a fellow appreciator. Who’s that dude in the middle?
I love DST. It’s my favorite game, because of the survival and it’s complete lack of forgiveness but also the LORE. I read all my Maxwell lore, he’s quite an interesting antagonist but also an interesting character.
The farthest that I’ve got is Day 30, then got slaughtered by the Deer-clops. Have you made it farther? I play with my brother. Playing by myself I don’t have as much confidence and get bored more easily.
It’s easy enough to get discouraged with DST. Once you make it far enough, dying can be pretty sad.

I actually turned one of my OCs into a detailed DST character. I drew her but not well. I’ll show you.

I think Maxwell is too hard to play. He’s so frail and has very specific abilities! His history is interesting though because he was the villain of Don’t Starve. (The original.)
Our current save has me as Willow and my brother as Maxwell. (Being out of my comfort zone of Willow would totally destroy my confidence and ability to get to spring which is my goal. XD)

What’s it like playing Webber? Sometimes I think of playing him but I don’t like the idea of being the enemy of pigs. But I want to try.
WX-18 or whatever it was is the only one I wouldn’t do. It’s a robot so it kind of seems boringly soulless.

So at the point in Coffee shop 2 where everyone is in the cave and Kipp goes to get water - since it seemed like a decent breaking point in the story and the RP was no more - I wanted to keep writing. I convinced my sister to RP with me. I had Kipp find some teleport stone and accidentally get sucked into this other world on his own.

He met Sen, my sisters OC who she had no idea what to do with her story was stuck. We decided they were in some video game that was used initially as some kind of therapy VR thing, but was later used to store ppl cause Earth was no longer liveable.

Hal is one of the people who was stored in the game. He is currently in the form of a low level enemy so people would ignore him. He was betrayed and tortured and he's hiding from bad guys. He found a healing pool and has been living in a cave near by and locking up anyone who finds him up in a ... barred off section of his livingroom... Kind of like a prison hotel.

Anyway, he does try to keep his prisoners happy, forces them to drink healing water so they can't die and respawn to come back to get him.

Kipp was scrawny enough to escape, managed to get Hal to let everyone go, and him and Sen are spending the night cause they don't know where they are or where to go. Kipp's opted to give Hal a chance. XD

Hal is very quirky, does weird inexplicable things, at least from Kipp's pov. Hal has a dog, that is the size of one of those direwolves, it's head is furry but the rest is just bones, it breaths tranquilizer, and it's name is Humperdinck. XD

I LOVE the musical voices! I like willow's lighter, but I don't know how to use her bear. Woody was the first guy I played as and I liked him a lot but died every time he turned into a werebeast cause I was unprepared.

The pigs aren't any more annoying than the angry bees. And you get spider friends that will murder practically anything that hurts you. I had a bunch of warrior spiders a few days ago that took down 2 tall birds for me And then the hounds came and they all caught on fire. It was very sad.

Webber can eat raw meat and monster meat... so you can totally cannibalize your spider friends if you want to XD

Even though I've made those home made characters we don't often play with them. I don't mind too much though. The only real benefit is Kipp can see in the dark and that's a huge hand up in the survivability of this game.

The guys who made the game made a character creator mod. It works on the computer, i dont think it could be done on an xbox though all the files are stored locally.... Although there are modded characters that have been uploaded, so maybe if you had a way to do it on a computer and upload you might have access if you could then download it to the xbox.

Cool! I could if I wished to, I think I would be bad at all that technical stuff though.
I did a rough sketch of my character, Bibi Wibi.

I recolored it, I like this version better

She is voiced by an Irish Whistle.
I’ll provide more of her abilities and stuff later. Basically, Bibi was minding her own business shepherding her sheep in the desert alone.
Then a group of hounds started taking her sheep. She spotted one grabbing a sheep and chased after it, all the way through a dark portal into the Constant, followed by two other sheep. She killed the hound by shooting it with her sling, but couldn’t save the lamb.
Bibi starts in the Constant with three sheep and the staff for leading them, a razor, and a vertical wooden flute that acts just like the pan flute but uses vocals for sound to differentiate from talking . She also has the ranged weapon, her sling.
