May I ask what brushes you used?

I used the Artist Crayon for texture on the comb and wattles.

Narinder Pencil for a bit of detail

Syrup and Technical Pen for the majority of the outline + saddles and hackles

I used the Gaussian Blur a lot to get a smooth transition between the shades of grey on the body.

Also another weird one (don't remember which) for a bit of detail and shading on the face

I also used the smudge tool for the sheen on the wing and tail.

To be honest I was just choosing random brushes.

I just managed to get a new IPad and download procreate. Here's the first chicken I drew on it (Ayam Cemani).

Wow! I love the color shading! From far away I thought it was a photo. I love the colored hackle shading. I’ve always wanted to do that, but I’m too scared.
Also love the feather detail. And a nice creative angle! I’m not creative in the angles I draw my chickens in.
