Did this rooster for a friend. She loved the Brown Leghorn drawing so much and my husband had already staked claim on it or I would have given it to her. So I drew a rooster for her to frame for her house. The rooster is watercolor pencil, and the background is regular watercolor. I am trying to learn the more loose watercolor painting style but there is a learning curve. lol

I’m very new to art. I’ve always loved it, followed various artists and in general loved animation. I’ve recently started drawing digitally on my iPad (IbisPaintX per some recommendations) and I’ve been having a blast. I don’t really understand anatomy too well yet, and some things I’m struggling with, but I know it’s all a process and I’ll get there eventually! I managed to doodle someone’s OC yesterday and while it wasn’t the best, it was great practice and they seemed to like it. As an adult starting this hobby, it’s honestly a little intimidating and I regret waiting so long to start. But I’m excited to see where it takes me. Maybe I’ll eventually be able to draw those scenes I see in my head with my own characters
