This was done in chalk. After some time, the chalk dissolved into the paper, like oil.

That's really neat! This was done in chalk. After some time, the chalk dissolved into the paper, like oil.
That's beautiful! Here it is! A little hard to get a good picture because it's high on the wall over the stairs, lol.
It's oil pastel, colored pencil, acrylic, and marker.View attachment 4224305
This piece is very interesting, it has a lot of character.
I'm not exceptionally good but I'm trying to improve all the time.
Show me yall's art! Traditional, digital, whatever!
I do a lot of sketchy digital drawings, I've got low patience for super clean lineart and it never looks right lol
Here's some of my stuff!

I want a paper mache chicken!![]()
I painted this dog for my niece for x-mas.
This is a painting very much like a larger painting I have in my dinning room that I painted for myself, but this one I painted for a friend who lived in Mazama.![]()
These are paper mache chickens I made a bunch to give as gifts. View attachment 2221448
I'm textiles! I spin, weave, knit, sew, felt, & kumihimo. Oh, needlepoint & occasionally cross stitch. Probably other stuff I'm not thinking of right now. I'm in an airport & can't figure out photos on my phone but I'll post some stuff when I get a chance.Jaki I like your trees! Do you by chance have larger pictures of them that you are willing to share?
I could never draw, paint, or sculpt worth a darned! I was that kid....the one whose art teacher always patted them on the head and gave encouraging remarks to about effort.
Oh, I can paint a house or upcycle a piece of furniture into something nice like nobody's business, but that's an aquired skill, not an art form
Over the years I tried many art forms and crafts and finally, after many years, found my place in textiles. However, I still very much admire people who can draw and paint (as an art form.)
Everyone's pictures are inspiring!
Nice, straight lines!Does this count as art?I needed a reminder to take my supplements, so I made a sticker sheet. I've got butterfly and flower stickers to put on it.View attachment 4224929
