Any Breda fowl experts here? Need help with a color

Already have friends begging me for hatching eggs and the chicks are only 8 weeks old

I'm hoping my seriously broody brahma will go broody again in the spring. If she does, she will be getting more breda eggs.

Beautiful! Looks like a pullet to me. My girls were quite large at that age.

A little late to the thread, but here is a photo of some of some Breda from our flock. We hatched these from our pair that was made up of a blue hen and blue cockerel. We have seen quite a bit of variation in the shades of blue. Some a very light and washed out blue (almost a lavender color) and others are darker. I am sure the same variation carries over to the splash/black colored birds they all come from the Blue/Black/Splash pairing though. I am sure that some people are working on consistency in the blue color. A lot of mixing took place when this breed was imported though so it will take a while for that consistence to be achieved.
