Any Bunny Owners?

Bunny here too!
Here she is in the old chicken run that I reset up for her to run around in. She absolutely hates going back to her hutch and will squeel and fight you.

Oh! I have a little Polish female! She's almost 7 years old and is a house bunny.
The biggrest things to remember are to give lots of good bunny hay for proper digestion, and lots of dark green veggies.
An invaluable resource on bunnies is the House Rabbit Society - www.rabbit.org.

I am big into horses and raised many cows, bought lots of hay in my time straw for bedding purposes, but what is bunny hay? I am considering a bunny and would like to learn about them prior to taking on that task.

Hi Carole,

No such thing as a mini holland lop. It is either a holland lop (smallest of the lops) or a mini lop (a little bigger), I know, doesn't make sense, but I didn't make the names. There is also French Lops (big guys!) and English Lops (big and super long ears!).

Not picking on you, just many people either get confused or are told the wrong thing by someone trying to get more money for them because they are mini something.

Forgot to say, we also have bunnies. We started with Hollands (probably still my favorite) but wanted something less popular to show. Tried Himilayans, those are super sweet to, but hard to show due to smut. Now we have a couple of old himi's left and some havanas. We also have a pair of New Zealands.

I would like another Holland or possible and English Lop in chinchilla color, just because I love that color. Hollands are sweet and english just have laid back personalities.

I have a californian named hannah. I want to get some more but who knows. I also have to make her a cage for outside. She really needs to get outside but oh where is there time.
They are a lot of fun to watch though

I read some off that link, How many of you have to deal with fleas from having rabbits? We have never had a flea problem and that is one thing I do not want to add to our environment.

The feed stores and pet shops sell special hay for bunnies. Timothy Hay and Alfalfa I think are the main 2. If you read the link in my post from the first page, it should have everything you need to know. I hope you post a picture of your new bunny.

We have a bunny and probably going to get another this summer!! Love our Mr. Rabbit. Bunnies have such personalityLOL Mr. rabbit is an indoor bunny came to us potty trained. We had a scare the other night though he tried to dart out of my hubys way while my hubby tried to move out of his way and though he had stepped on him. Oh so scary!!!! But he is ok. Took a day and a half before I had to chase him out from under my bed though. LOL have you seen this web site the "language" of rabbits. http://pavilion.buttonredirect.hp.c...dex.html?VER=0&CYCLE=62&URL=http://www.hp.com C
