Have your brought her to the vet? That's always a good start. That way you can see if she really is pregnant and if so how far along and if she's healthy. Do you want to keep her? If you do, do you want her to be an inside or outside cat?

I do want to keep her because i don’t want her to be out on the streets again. I would like her to be an indoor cat, but both me and my boyfriends mom have cats/dogs.. I called a rescue place and they said they had a foster that can take her but now i’m second guessing giving her up.

What do you mean that you're not sure what to do? Do you want to keep this cat? Or are you planning on rehoming/ giving her to a shelter?
I would put some feelers out first, whichever you're looking to do, to see if she's lost. Just because she's affectionate doesn't mean she was intentionally dumped.

And by “idk what to do” i meant if i keep her and she has kittens. I’ve never had a cat have kittens. Is it better keeping her where she’s content to have her kittens or get her even more stressed out and give her to a rescue

In regards to the rescue situation, they will be experienced in taking in pregnant cats. They will know how to make her safe and comfortable and *if* she is pregnant (because just being chubby doesn't mean she is) they will know how to care for her and her kittens.

You asked for advice from cat people multiple cat people have given you advice. You are ignoring that advice. So

I currently have 4 cats, all rescued from shelters in New Jersey and all are microchipped. Not one of them has their ear clipped.
The cats before them similarly had chips but no ear clipping.

Will she let you touch her stomach? Try and hold a hand on both side firm but gently and see if you feel movement
