Any chicken lovers here that also love soccer?

I like the footy gear, and I LOVE the rooster logo. :D

Do you play, allaboutchicken?

Thank you! I played when I was a child. It's been about two or three years since I've played football/soccer.

Nowadays I mainly play American football and baseball.

What about yourself?

oh,no, I'm probably the least team-sporty person on the planet but I can appreciate the skill of those who do. I find it hard to concentrate on watching tv (I mostly listen to it) so I don't watch sport either, but if I did, I'd watch british football (soccer) over Aussie rules.

That's completely understandable, and I can respect that. I didn't know there was a difference in rules between British and Australian football.

In addition to the French Football Federation, the London football club, Tottenham Hotspurs also have a cockerel as their logo. Here's the evolution of their logo:

Here in the United States, the University of South Carolina and University of Delaware also use chickens as their logo. The Gamecocks are the team name for South Carolina, and the Blue Hens are the team name for Delaware. Here are their logos:

Aussie rules is a bit like Gaelic football.
We also play rugby league and rugby union here (depending where you live and what school you went to).

It's a completely different game altogether. No real similarities at all, except there are teams and a ball. :D

I'm surprised there are so many teams with chooks. They aren't exactly big and tough, are they? :D
