For those who may not know, France's national soccer team's logo is a rooster. I started collecting a few pieces of clothing of the French Football Federation, and hopefully I'll add more in the future. I'll upload the pictures of what I have in my collection so far -- but for now, take a look at France's logo over the years!

That's a good question! I never did research as to why they did. I think because chickens are the best animals on the planet.

Googling the question reveals that it is a word play on the Latin word "gallus" which means both rooster and a Gaul (one of the ancient inhabitants of what is now France).

Here's what I've accumulated for my France Football Federation collection. I have a navy blue and white jacket, a green and yellow goalie jersey, and two royal blue and red jerseys.
