Any cons about raising quail?

Take a Tupperware containers and put the lid on it. Drill six one inch holes around it and use it as a feeder. Will cut down on the mess as their heads are inside the feeder. Also the only down side I find is the smell. I place two fridge packs of Baking soda on each cage. This election minutes the smell.

The cons are: they stink like crazy so if you want indoor pets I wouldn't have more than 4-5 inside as the stench is overpowering.
Males are freakishly noisy and will scalp each other regardless of gender once they are mature.
If they know you have mealworms on you their eyes light up and they will fly at the cage and attack. Little maniacs.
If you have too many hens you can get overrun by eggs.
They also panick easily - I've had one squirm out of my hand and jumped really high, ended up landing badly and breaking his wing :(
Males are not that agressive.
Only if you have not tamed it or raised it with too many chicks.
They do not panic easily when tamed.
