Any cures for a chicken with a stuffy nose?

My 4 year old Rhode Island Red has a stuffy nose. I originally thought there was a more serious problem, but after watching her behavior and looking at her nose, I can see it's just that her nose is stuffed up. I read that giving chickens high protein foods like mealworms and yogurt will help, but so far neither have been much help. Are there any other ways to help her?

It sounds like she has a sinus or other respiratory infection and will need antibiotics to clear it up. It is hard to recommend one because it really depends on the infection as to which antibiotic will be effective. Duramycin is the most readily available but is also a broad-spectrum antibiotic that I've never had a lot of success with. I did find Denagard to immediately help one hen with a sinus infection earlier this year, but it did nothing to help the next. Tylan is another good one to try.
