Any dentists out there?

I've really wanted to be a dentist for a while. Now, even though I've got a ways to go before college, I was wondering abut the road to dentistry. Stuff like:
What are some helpful high school classes to take?
What do you want to get your bachelor's degree in in order to get into dental school?
And are there any other things that would help?

This is more or less out of curiosity.

I have random thoughts.

I got to play assistant to one for a while, years ago.

Ummm.... sedated horses, with their heads propped over your shoulder, falling asleep and leaning on you.... are VERY heavy!

However... it was really fun and cool.... and satisfying to know they were happier when we were done

I'd do it if I liked teeth... instead I'm wanting to go for the feet end
