Any digital artists out there?

Yah that would work , it has to be about as detailed as the crane, but femine looking , it doesn't have to be in the same postion as the crane, I kinda want it to go up over my shoulder and wrap just over onto my breast maybe like the long tail feathers maybe and the peacock itself could be faceing front with the tail down but feathered out some, it will sit at or just below the shoulder joint on the top of my arm this should make a decent size peacock because I have a lot of muscle to cover, another reason I want it very femine, because I'm build pretty good for a woman, many hard years of work in the making, I can bench 200 lbs..... just for example. soooo
This picture is of flowers but I want the peacock to start about where the large flower is.....

Oh boy! Great thread! Great art! And tips and tricks discussions! Yay!

I've been drawing digitally for just about 2 years now (traditionally all my life, but only occasionally). But I tried it, and got hooked! Now I'm always doing SOMEthing artistic. I've started tons more projects than I've finished, lol.

Last May I started school for Computer Animation, so now I'm learning programs like Maya, ZBrush and all the stuff that comes with Adobe CS5 besides Photoshop and Illustrator. I've been using PS almost exclusively for my 2D artwork for the last two years, though I'm starting to like doing my line work in Illustrator. Usually now I'll do all my rough outs in PS, take them over to Illustrator and "ink" them, then back to PS to color etc.

Here's some stuff done purely for fun:

These two are "speed" paintings (no lines, and completed in only a few hours):

The Ivory Tower (from The Neverending Story)

Brain Bug (from Starship Troopers)

These are some things done as part of school assignments:

Plague Usher
The assignment was to design a completely original character, not based on anyone else's artwork or characters, and not of anime or manga style.

Then I had to take that design, and make a series of characters in different color schemes (analogous, complementary, monochromatic, warm vs cool colors, etc), and different line styles (organic, geometric):

In this project we were supposed to use warm and cool colors to create a sense of depth.

In this project we were to pick 2-3 different animals, do studies of each, and then find ways to combine them to make a hybrid.
Our studies were supposed to be quick sketches, thus the "messyness"

Striped hyena study

Striped hyena head and African porcupine paw studies

Baboon study

Baboon head study

Three different combinations of the three animals:

]WOW These are absolutely awesome.................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Totally narly pictures I especially love the baboons and Hyena...... keep up the great work, so cool............Kim

Alright, I'll see with them, I'm sure we can come up with something xD
Does it have to be a specific colour of peacock ? White or IB ? Or something else ? I'm guessing IB but...Who knows. xD

@Gatorpit Hello fellow buddy ! I see you are a lot into creatures and all, and that is a nice style you got ~
Nice pictures too !

As for me, my latest is the following, I got a bit of help from my friends, one did the grass and the other did the peach tree, though I added a bit of shades in the tree because it was necessary ; So apart from the grass, and the blossoms base, I did everything else....xD

Aye so GhostRider65, I'll see what we can find for you ~
