Any dog lovers that can help me with this one?

Bless your heart for taking in these poor pups and giving them the care every dog deserves. They really had an angel on their shoulders that day! Post more pics when you can....they really bring a smile!

There is a very special place in heaven for people like you..caring unconditionally for those adorable stranded/dumped pups. Thank you, thank you, thank you, and I know they would chime in if they could.
As far as breed, beagle is high up on the list...
Please keep us posted..

They are adorable!

Since the pups have been vetted and are eating/drinking/active...I'd say you are doing great! Good luck on finding them homes. Thank you for taking the pups into your home

I say they look to be Beagle X Pit bull mixes

My dad had beagles and those 2 little sweet hearts sure look like little beagle mixes to me.

aaawww geee ya'all are making me blush! Thanks for the love! I could not have imagined just passing them by... they are soo little and helpless.
When we stopped to pick them up one car saw us and asked if something was wrong... I told them there were puppies in the road. He didnt say another word and just drove off. Oh well! His loss! They are a blessing!

I would definatly agree with all of you Beagle is high on the list for SURE! I am curious what other breed though... their ears are pretty short for Beagles. I think???

I did have someone suggest Jack Russell Terrier/ Beagle and they gave me this link.

The ears are shorter but not as short as these little ones. Which makes me wonder if there is some boxer or bulldog in them. But they dont seem stocky(?) enough. I know I may never really know and thats ok. They are beautiful no matter the breed. It would be nice to get an idea though of temperment and size... And if we decide not to keep them I can at least give someone an idea of what to expect.
We were blessed with a little mutt for 12 years and I still miss her dearly! She was GREAT and very well loved by anyone who visited us and many wanted to take her home with them. She was a Dachshund/chihuahua... Cocker/pekingese mix. LOL I still tear up thinking of her! Sooo I definatly agree... Mutts are awesome!

Oh the puppies discovered the chickens today!

That was tooo funny to me. They sudenly became very scared guard dogs... warning them not to come on the porch but running the other way when the chickens came to close. LOL Toooo funny! Im keeping an eye on them... dont want anyone to get hurt!!!

So how is the little girl feeling today? Her belly might be hurting if she cannot pass the dead worms. I have done some rescue before and upon worming the pups they would actually poop out the whole worm..some still dying. Hopefully she is not so bad that there is a blockage there stopping her from passing them.
Let us know how she is doing? Thank you for having a decent heart to stop and save these little ones.

I'm with Equest94... I'd say Beagle/Pitt mix... you have to figure what breeds are prevalent in your area and most areas have alot of Pitt crosses. Google Pitt Bull puppies and that should give you an idea for comparison of looks. Pit crosses make wonderful family dogs... look at Peetie from the Lil Rascals. That was a Pit..

I'm so glad they are doing well... had to check back and see. You can get goats milk canned.. they have it near the other canned milk or dry milk. Or maybe a neighbor who has milk goats would help you out? My dog's breeder has milk goats and she gives the milk to her dogs... mixes it with the puppies food too. Also makes goat yogurt.

You are doing great!
Susan
