x2It's a boy, I'm not what breed it could be since I'm sure there are breeds there that I've never heard of.

Wow!! She's a pullet!! She matured so quickly! I was definitely wrong. I will take note of this in the future for sure. It seems that lightweight and less standardized breeds of chickens can get combs earlier than I thought. My apologies!Long overdue update! Around 18 weeks old. The wattles are begining to grow in, and the comb has gotten quiet large. No crowing yet, no eggs, but definitely the lookout chicken, and is very vocal with warning clucks.
Well, I have to apologize for my initial assessment of cockerel. That's a pullet! And she'll be laying soon!Long overdue update! Around 18 weeks old. She is gorgeous, this thread was a fun roller coaster! Glad it ended on a great note! Sometimes I wish my gender observations are wrong! It’s so sad to get a cockerel, especially if you raised it for months…Long overdue update! Around 18 weeks old. The wattles are begining to grow in, and the comb has gotten quiet large.
