Raising Layers and Meat Birds in the City
I have been learning Russian for years now, but just began taking it more seriously (daily study/practice + weekly formal lessons) for about 9 months. The language-learning process is quite the adventure, but it is rewarding. It can be a rollercoaster of emotions at times, because on a good day you feel on top of the world and that you are on your way to fluency, and on a bad day you feel horrible and that you may never learn. Overall though, I really have enjoyed learning a new language.
So, who else out there is learning a language? Which language are you learning, and are there any others you want to learn? How has the experience been, and do you have any tips for learning?
Feel free to discuss anything else about language acquisition here, even if you aren't learning a language yet!
