Maxx....I can't take the roo :-( We just couldn't get the coop done to add another roo.

BUT.....BUT!!!!!!! Have your Dad/Mom bring you over this week to pick up your two new girls....take your pick from any of my 14 EE girls! I actually have 19, but I'm wanting to keep the white ones and the cream ones.

We look forward to seeing you guys again!

cmom - - Looking forward to seeing it at the bent creek feed store on Sunday Feb 27 . . ..
I hope everyone has lots of interesting things to bring to the show after our 2 month break.
Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and provide us a day nice and warm and sunny like yesterday afternoon!

Anybody in central Fl breeding (and possibly selling) Lavender Orpingtons? I've tried to get hatching eggs through the mail twice, and both batches were usps disasters... I ended up with one black split to lav baby out of all the eggs I set. In the last 2 weeks, I've seen a couple local craigslist ads with lavs for sale, but when I call, the lavs have already been sold (So somebody around here must have them, right?). So, I'm wondering if there's some lovely BYCer in the area who might be able to help me track down a couple eggs or birds or something. It seems a shame to have one lonely little split lav pullet with no one to keep her company!

I sold all the laying hens I exhibited at the South Florida Fair -- we won lots of blue ribbons and trophies for Best this and Reserve that too, thankyouverymuch! But I still have beautiful Indian Runner Ducks -- fawn & white drakes & hens in different colors -- 6 months old & just starting to lay, $20 each. And two beautiful female Embden geese hatched last spring, $50 each. Their brother won the trophy for Best Waterfowl ! We're in western West Palm Beach but arrangements could be made for delivery or meet-you-halfway.
