So you playing on a server not a console, I never really got into computers thought about it lots of people say it’s better and faster what other games u play? Gonna hit this pillow with my noggin, maybe we can play sometime!!
Consoles have servers too these days. PSN, Xbox live, Minecraft has multi platform Realms, etc. I used to be a big console kid, swore consoles were the master race, even though I ultimately grew up with both starting with DOS and my old Matel Intellivison (burger time! >:O That console was the WORST)... RIIIIGHT up until the PS3. PS2 and earlier everything (that wasn't xbox) was DRM free. It was expected to actually function as a complete game right out the gate and had few to no major changes post release, the console couldn't get viruses and stuff, it wouldn't blue screen you or freeze or fatal error or whatever. Very reliable. With the PS3 that went out the window, now a game gets released on a disk and you need a 2 hour bugfix download to play it anyhow... You can plug a controller into your computer if you want, and there's a bigger player base... So I caved and dug deep on computer games and never looked back, though our household still has most major new consoles. (Holiday presents. It's our primary luxury/entertainment expense and we're OK with that. We don't do a lot of expensive activities and otherwise live fairly frugally.) My partners like console games more.
I play a little of a lot of genres... So I like HALO, L4D, Orion: -Prelude, EDF4&5 as shooters, I love JRPGs (FFXV, and a lot of old classics like KH, Tales, etc.) and regular RPGs (Divinity Original Sin has been hot in my house and I loved Fallout 4), I enjoy open world sandbox adventures like Ark and Minecraft and Don't Starve, 3D platformers like Mario Odyssey or Spyro, life simulator/collection games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley... I'm slowly hacking my way through Half Life 1 right now and it's hard because I can't tell what's something I can/can't interact with because of bad graphics, we have big group games of CIV 5 and Diablo 2 with pals. Heck, I even enjoy dumb phone idle games like Egg Inc. and that stupid knot untying game. The game I'm currently most looking forward to is Bugsnax, which looks just charming and so joyful and bizarre.
Generally I tend to sink my most time into games that are either deeply tactical, social, or sandboxy. My whole household is big on games and most of our friends and we connect over games of all sorts, including tabletop/board/card games. I like sandbox adventure games most of all. They just really scratch an itch and I don't know why.
I'm also off to bed, and anxiety is keeping me up more than it should. I'd love to play something with new people sometime.

Goodnight!
