Anime eyes are way easier than regular eyes. My best advice is to decide what you want to draw and look at the eye expressions closely in each different emotion.

"Sometimes" I just draw small circles for the eyes, if I'm not going for massive detail that is...

Heres an example of a standard model. I can position it into almost any gesture I want and set the light around it for shadow and depth.

One of my favs. Also love 1984 by George Orwell and Civil Disobedience by Thoreau. In addition I also love Harry Potter and Captain Underpants. Got a real thing for banned books.
