Without spoiling anything I will say it's probably the most epic adventure I've ever played. The final boss was amazing and beyond what I would have expected and the story was beautiful

I beat BotW yesterday (by accident). And kept playing a bit today because the not finding the last great fairy was driving me crazy. I don’t know if I’m going to do the DLC or not. I know for sure I’m going to take a break from Zelda before doing TotK. I’m not ready to start from scratch again. I wish more than just horses would carry over between the games.
