Honestly, my nephew excitedly told me about it, but my eyes kind of glazed over.

It's all cyclical. I remember when 8 bit graphics (minecraft is 8 bit) were the cutting edge of technology. Now they're "retro cool"

Admittedly, OG Zork is a bit before my time with computers and gaming, but I played the heck out of all the PC ports as well as all of the roguelikes over time.

Oh, I see. I was asking because apparently there was a reference to Zork in the game Sleepless Hollow, referencing that quote. I didn’t know about that until you pointed it out.

Yeah, it gets referenced quite a bit to the point where it's memed a lot even outside tech circles.

I can't wait until the building co-op/survival games go out of fashion. I want to kill things, not build things. I'm also old and grew up with games like Doom.

I am a gamer. I like to play different games but now I like to play online games like Genshin and League of legends. Personally today I got C2 Raiden Shogun. I am so happy about that!!

If you think that’s funny, later on in the game you join the group that fights against him, “the order of the snuggly bunny.”

They were commissioned by the king of the land to defeat the diabolical onion, but the young princess was assigned to make the name and the outfit. Lead by Captain Capitan.

As I mentioned before, I am a fan of old PC games made by the company Hamumu. This game is called Loonyland 2 collectors edition.

I actually just finished the game. The final boss turned out to be a two dimensional being called the happy stick bird. It was just an m shaped line.

For reference, happy stick is a recurring theme in these games made by this company. They are all two dimensional beings that look like stick figures. However, they are very powerful. If I recall correctly, there is a happy stick man, the happy stick spider, the happy stick witch, the happy stick bird, and the happy stick boy.

These games are my childhood.
