Any Gamers Here?

Picked up Starrupture on steam with steam credit I had. It's a base builder/planet explorer fps style, inspired by satisfactory.

Seems decent so far. I'll grab some screenies my next sesh. :)
Here’s my dilemma:

Star Rupture is made by the same company that made Green Hell. And I LOVE Green Hell. However, they botched the PS5 port. The port runs ok on a PS5 Pro but terrible on a base PS5. Creepy Jar ghosted the fans over fan requests that the port be fixed and lost a lot of the fans’ good faith.

Not sure if I’m ready for give them more money.

That is the one reason I’ve kept my Xbox 360 all these years.
Honest to gosh that game was a nostalgia demon I played it with my birth dad all the time then I was adopted and was unable to play it, then on Christmas 2025 he died. I don't have a 360 but I have pocket paradise on the DS. I cry whenever I play it.

Recently finished my fifth Grimshire run. I need to find something else to distract me from it; it’s still in Early Access and at this rate I’m going to burn myself out on it before Year 2 comes out. 🤪

Just finished Metroid Prime 4. It was a great game, but the ending made me a little sad.
I've heard mixed feedback MP4, so glad to hear you enjoyed it! It's on my shortlist for what to play this year.

For me, I've been on a puzzle game kick. About to finish Rise of the Golden Idol.

I managed to kill the reaper 3 times in persona 3 reload last night. Even though I got ambushed all 3 times (I really need to get better at ambushing the guy) he was nowhere near as bad as I was expecting. Last time was a bit dicey at the end as I need to buff our defense AND debiliate him and I couldn't decide which was more important. I ultimately decided to pick the third option and just used scarlet havok in hopes of killing him and thankfully it did. I wasn't necessarily going to 100% the game but after seeing how most of the achievements I have left are story based with the only one I'll probably have to do in new game plus is max all social links I'll probably go for 100%ing the game. Main priority at this point is fighting Elizabeth as never mind the final boss, she's the real challenge here. I won't have Orpheus telos which is a shame as that would have been very nice to have for the fight but it is what it is. I want to do it this go around too as I am on merciless difficulty now and I am not doing new game plus on merciless as I won't be able to carry over anything and I'd rather just focus on the stuff I didn't do rather than grind social stats again. Stinks as hard is going to feel entirely too easy now (but IG any difficulty is too easy when you have end game stuff lol) but oh well. It does mean I want to wrestle the game to its knees while I am on merciless

Different type of gaming.

Now THAT was intense! Down 7100 LP and pulling out an automatic win!

After years of begging, Ubisoft finally dropped a patch for PS5 for Far Cry Primal to let it run at 60fps. It gave me a hallelujah moment when I saw the update last night.

This was my second favorite Farcry game. I got far in the original playthrough then lost my save when I transferred systems and I never picked it back up. So now I’m going to do a fresh playthrough to the end.

In hindsight, Ark does a lot of what Primal does, with Ark being up-to-date graphics wise. But Primal feels more viscous and intense. The predators in Primal truly stalk you. Now that I can play Primal at 60fps, I appreciate how fast paced the stone-age combat is. My character also feels much more responsive. In first-person-shooters I often turn down the joystick sensitivity so that a slight push doesn’t jolt me around. But in this game, the quick response time makes the difference when a big cat is pouncing on you from the underbrush or you stumble up on a neanderthal hunting party.
