Any guesses on this breed?

We recently adopted this sweet docile girl (I think it’s a girl) from a friend after a fox got the rest of her flock. She is gorgeous, with a pretty green glint in the sunshine. They said she’s only about 4-5 months old and not laying yet. I’m guessing she’s a mixed breed given the puff on her head. She is a lot smaller than our barred rock and orphingtons, but they are a few months older than her.

She could be a Silkie cross, probably is with being so small.
Looks like she has Jersey Giant in her.

Jersey Giants have yellow bottom feet. Black australorp have pale or flesh colored feet. The feet pic looks to have that flesh color, so maybe some Black Australorp genes.

The head tuft looks like what I’ve seen on a Legbar that I have, but could be other breeds that I’m not aware of with the tuft. I would think silkie heritage would result in more silkie gene impact with respect to feather type, size, style, but maybe not.

She's a really pretty mixed breed. What exactly went into her cross is impossible to know for sure, but you've gotten some good guesses so far.

JG have yellow skin which is recessive. Australorps have dom white skin.
Anything could have elimated the yellow from coming through. Also possibly black Orp, instead.

Silkie feathering is a recessive trait. Would not show in F1 crossbreeds.
