Any guesses on this little one?

Hi!

This little babes was born October 8th, so only 1.5 months but any early guesses on what it might be? (I had to include a photo of baby as a newborn because cuteness lol use newer photo as reference)

It’s a Brahma/black sex link cross.

Unfortunately I'm leaning towards cockerel for your chick. That comb is quite pink and those shanks are very thick for a pullet, but by no means certain at this stage. A close up shot showing the comb might make it easier.

True. I think maybe wait a week so we can see if the comb grows

I’d probably say pullet. The comb production is not that pink. But still I would post a picture in a few weeks. It’s still a very cute bird.

Leaning towards cockerel at this point. Considering its comb type, which is usually slower to develop, the size is rather suspicious.

Just assuming that's a pea comb, of course. Even if not, I'm still heavily thinking cockerel unless things change in the future.

It's early, but I also think it's very likely to be a cockerel.
