I take care of the clear covers for my Eco Glow Brooder heaters but cleaning daily wears them out and they eventually have to be tossed. Just looked at the price of the replacement packs and imo, it's not worth it. About $5 each for the 600 and $6 each for the 1200. Not including shipping. Any alternatives? ideas?

Just wash the plastic in dishwater soap, and do not scrub. I don't see how a slightly clouded plastic makes it no longer usable. :idunno
I suppose if the clarity is important, then the $5 + shipping is not really that bad:old

They tear after a while. I didn't say anything about the plastic being cloudy????
