Any Harry Potter fans out there?

It was a total zoo that night. One of those things you have to do just once to say you did it! LOL.

I didn't get home until 1:30am and then stupid me cracked open the book. Hubby found me on the sofa at 6:00am fast asleep with the book on my face

I am a big fan too! My son who was about 10 at the time kept bugging me to read the books. I kept telling him they were not my type of book. One day I found my friend and boss reading them and asked her about them. She said they are soooo good. So I had to try one and I was hooked. Couldn't put it down!! Sat up and read all night!! Yep, looked them. Movies too, but books were better.

I started reading the books because so many parents were all flipped out about it. You know, magic, wizards, teaching your kids to do witchcraft....blah blah blah. My son was at the age the first book was targeted to, so I thought I should read it first. It was great, nothing evil or bad about it, just a great story.

Of course, some people were appalled that I read the book AND gave it to my oldest son. I pointed out that my son was more than capable of telling fantasy from reality. Even if he wasn't, the first time he pointed a stick at me and tried to cast a spell and it didn't work, after I got done whopping his butt, he would know that magic isn't possible.

im the biggest fan of all! i own all the books seen all the movies and ive even read that new release one , you know the tales of beatle the bard

I have the whole Harry Potter series on my MP3 player, listening to audio books sure makes household chores go faster! Also, I sort of need the calm sane voices of the narrators to block out the noise of my 90 year old father's TV shows. He likes to listen to things LOUD too, so hearing a narrator reading a good book distracts me nicely. The Harry Potter series is especially good too, they are quite engrossing.

I'm sorry, but I don't think any of ya'll can be a bigger fan than I.

My chickens are named: Hermione, Luna, Ginny, George (an RIR who lost her twin sister named Fred to a feral cat), Katie, and Angelina.

The goats are: Bellatrix (aptly named), and Fleur.

If I had started reading Harry Potter before my kids were born, they would probably be named Harry and Ron, LOL!

lol I like Harry Potter.

But, seeing as I'm also a fan of Twilight, the Uglies series, and just about every other book I've read, it isn't saying much... I fall in love with all the characters of every book I read.
