Any Home Bakers Here?

Thanks. I think it should be safe. AND I thought of trying to find a liner to put into it. Some sort of vessel that would fit in and I could put the hook on it a use. Going to do some searching and try to locate something that would fit.

It has been in our home for years so after all the scrubbing...I think it is suitable to use. ha ha Aria

Penny, Your Baking Powder Biscuits SUPER. Thanks for sharing

I made a Healthy Anise Toast (they go well with coffee)
1. one cup of All purpose Flour
2. one cup of Oat Bran
3. 1/4 cup wheat germ
4. 1/3 cup honey
5. 4 eggs
6. l/3 cup veggie oil (I use Mazola or Canola)
7. l cup toasted sliced almonds or walnuts
8. Extract of choice anise, vanilla, almond, lemon

Beat the eggs, add sugar, honey
Mix all dry ingredients and add slowly to wet ingredients
DO NOT over mix...stir to have a ball of dough
Divide into two and shape into long loaves.on greased cookie sheet
Place in 375 oven 10-12 mins or until golden brown
Cool...slice diagonally about 1 inch.
Place on cookie sheet back in oven to toast.

This was one of my Mom's recipies....but she did not use
the wheat germ or the oat bran. She used ALL All purpose flour.
