Any Home Bakers Here?

You guys are a wealth of information. SUPER.
Debby, you always know the correct words. (with my fussy husband) THANKS.
And Ron, the Bucket Bread was GREAT...and so easy to mix.THANKS

My husband found on the Internet a company in California that had the part to my Kitchen Aid Mixer and they will be mailing to him. He is going to try to FIX it. He always has good luck fixing things.

Hey, if he doesn't....it's ok with me. I am fine with my Bucket.
Ron, the recipe you sent me is GRAND. Made two loaves (cut the recipe in 1/2) yesterday and had it for toast this morning. The recipe is a large one and just me eating...it makes 4 large loaves.
Cutting it in 1/2 made two large (2 pound loaves). Thanks again,
Aria P.S. my freezer is FULL OF HOMEMADE BREAD.

I just put eggs in a pot of boiling water, cook them about 14-15 minutes, then drop them in a bowl of icy water. Let them cool off and the shells slip right off.

Been doing it that way for a few years now and they turn out great!

On Boiling Eggs: Place the eggs in cold water bring to a boil
turn off the heat and let sit for 15 minutes then place in cold water.

When peeling: take a teaspoon and bang all around the egg. Then place the front of the teaspoon under the shell....work the teaspoon
all

Yes! That will have them peel well. Adding the ice after boiling will help the yolk and white cook correctly. Usually the yolk burns and gets green on the outside if the white is cooked correctly. If the yolk is not burnt, the white is not cooked enough.

The recipe, or cooking technique I posted helps the shell to peel and the egg to cook correctly.
I do not like burnt yolks and hate runny whites

That’s how I do mine but still going to try Ron’s way.

These aren't very pretty, but an Amish crisp and very good.
