Hi Jared, glad to hear you're feeling better today. If you need some baking therapy, give the roll a try. That one requires some concentration! Plus, if you've ever thought of doing a Buche de Noel for Christmas (a chocolate Yule log cake), this pumpkin roll would be good practice!

Since it's just DH & me this year, one dessert will be more than enough. Pumpkin pie is ok, but not my favorite. I'll let DH pick what he wants most.

You can use fresh pumpkin puree for anything that calls for canned pumpkin puree.

I can attest that the fresh pumpkin puree tastes so much better than the canned stuff. I may still have enough for a pie, but I may need to bake another pumpkin or 2 this weekend.
It turns out I like baked pumpkin, who knew?
